Lovely Weather For Cheering On The Birds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – This is the day Eagles fans have waited nine months for. The birds home opener.

“Can’t beat football season. I have football withdrawal during the summer and spring.”

That’s Marianne from Voorhees, a season ticket holder for more than 20 years. She has high hopes for this year.

“I’m an avid fan. In fact, I come to all the preseason games to check out the new players.”

For Frank, tailgating is an important part of the football experience to spend time with friends and family. The foods pretty good, too.

“It’s hot roast beef with my wife’s famous pasta salad and actually we have some mother-in-law cookies. You’ll have to try one.

Oh, I tried one and they are fantastic. It’s a delicious blend of graham cracker with almonds and caramel.

“We’re well stocked so we’re all set to go.
